    Dear Eric-

I am a graduating senior who was just accepted into a DPT program at Western U. in Pamona, California. I am also a CSCS. I used to work in a sub-acute/acute facility as an aid in Sacramento, California for 5 years. I read your article in Advance magazine and my heart sank! I just really want to wish you well. Also, I am wondering what your level of function is now? Are you practicing PT anywhere? Best of luck to you buddy!

    Thanks Tim,

Congrats on Western U! I’m pretty much independent with the walker (slow, but independdent), but that’s not good enough for me! I’ll continue fighting as long as I keep making improvement. This is taking much longer than I expected.

Hi Eric. I, too, read your article in the Advance for Physical Therapists Magazine. I think of you and your family often! How was your interview TV segment? I hope that things get better each day with a little faith and hope!

    Thanks Melissa!

All those articles… I never thought I would be doing that! Things are still progressing, but I can’t wait to get back to where I was before… I take that back I’ll be better then I was before!

    Dear Eric:

Your strength and courage is a lesson I will never forget. Here I am a full-time, yet unpublished writer, and you have proven that when someone is committed to what they believe in, nothing can stop them. Congratulations on all your achievements and, by the way, I went to La Jolla library and you, my friend, were a no show!

    Best, always,

Hey buddy, I just heard the news @ the Purdue game from Boo and I talked with Oliver tonight @ church basketball and he gave me some more details. Eric, my heart hurts deeply right now; you have always been a favorite memory of mine from HS! Believe in Me, words that have driven me to do better when times get bad, my partner in the backfield and a guy I always wanted to be more like! Even if you bad mouth my father-in-law in your Blog??? Anyway, I just bought your book and I plan to read it from cover to cover as soon as I get it, I”M FUCKING PROUD OF YOU, but I’ll come kick your ass if you don’t start taking your rehab more serious!!! I’m praying for you buddy and I hope to see you soon! God Bless You!

    Eric Galvez,
You are an inspiration to me. As a long time friend there are no words for me to express the respect that I hold for you and the way that you have lived your life. Always introspective and willing to put in the work necessary to make anything you choose successful. There is no stronger champion of physical and mental strength than Eric Galvez. I will continue to do all that I can do to support your cause because it is so important to keep fighting. Your strength will inspire others as i has so many people throughout your life. I agree tumors suck.
